Schneider Electric Digitizes its Complex Product Digest in Days with Titania Delivery

Ann Arbor, MI – Dec. 11, 2015 - Titania Software announced today that Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, is using Titania Delivery to provide consumers with optimal online access to one of its most complex product publications, the North America Product Digest.

With more than 22,000 orderable parts and products available in the Digest, Schneider Electric wanted to make it as easy as possible for consumers to quickly access the product selection information they needed without having to wade through pages of irrelevant or unrelated information. With Titania Delivery, the content in the Digest, previously available only as PDF, is now dynamically generated as HTML5. From any device, consumers can now easily navigate to the most relevant content and using advanced search can get to exactly the product or part information of interest.

“We are dedicated to digitizing all of our product content for the convenience of our consumers. Like our products, we want to be sure our information is always available to all. Too often, calls to our support center are seeking information that we know exists in the Digest; now it will be easier than ever for Digest customers to find the answers they need at any time,” said Mark Mitchell, Project Manager Partner Organization, Schneider Electric.

Mark adds, “Given the complexity of the tables, graphics, and technical content that make up the Digest the idea of digitizing it seemed overwhelming at the start. It was great that in just 5 weeks from start to finish with Titania Delivery we were able to have all our content transformed and available online for review.”

“While the Titania Delivery solution transforms content quickly, what’s most impressive is that it leverages and preserves all the intelligence and relationships within our content as it dynamically generates the adaptive design and mobile-ready output. Using a single source of content our team can produce print, PDF and now all online delivery formats of the Digest with greater efficiency,” said Kevin Habel, MOTIF Product Manager, Schneider Electric.

“We are pleased that Schneider Electric chose Titania Software to help address its online delivery needs. Titania Delivery is designed to simplify the complexities of online publishing and alleviate any burden on IT or other internal web publishing resources. With the Titania Delivery solution, the Schneider Electric documentation team can streamline its delivery processes to further boost productivity and get even greater value from its content investments,” said Tim Allen, CEO, Titania Software.
